Ok so I posted that my chainsaw is stuck in a tree. I'm thinking of ditching it and getting a poulan or husqvarna brand....any thoughts on the better of the two? I've got a friend with a poulan and he likes it but I hear husqvarna is a more expensive brand, is it worth the extra $?

I have a Husqvarna 455 Rancher and I can say it is worth the extra money. However if you just need a chainsaw for cutting occasionally then you might want to go with the poulan brands, they are cheaper for sure.

Most of your small end Husq are the same as Poulan or Craftsman...choose how much you want to spend because they are all the same saw. They are owned by the same parent company.
