Having a problem with my saw pulling to the left during cuts.  Thought it was a problem with the chain, so had it professionally sharpened, but still pulls to the point of binding.  Now thinking I have a bent or damaged bar.  Any suggestions?

Chances are that the bar has been bent. You can test this theory by laying the bar on a known flat service, check both sides if you have any light coming from under the bar on either side then you will need to replace it. Another option is to replace the chain, you stated that you had it professionally sharpened but human error could have come into play. If both sides were not sharpened correctly then that to could cause the chain to travel.
