I broke a "fin" on my Husqvarna 51 flywheel.  Will this dramatically affect the flywheel balance such that the flywheel should be replaced?

Thanks.

Flywheel replacement, One fin missing is not going to be detrimental to the machine, not only does the flywheel help to keep the engine spinning and in ballance it also acts as a fan to help cool the engine. One fin is not that big of a deal, more than one or one that is bent more than broken could cause the engine to run out of ballance and/or prevent cooling. If it is a clean break than it should be fine. Of course the manufacture would say to replace it with a new one.
